The Bodycomp scan provides a comprehensive body image, including muscle, fat, and bone masses for the whole body and specific regions. It accurately calculates total body fat and regional percentages, while also estimating your resting metabolic rate based on lean tissue. We offer personalized nutrition plans to support your goals.

Follow-up scans demonstrate the change in percent body fat as well as any muscle gain (or loss) and the regional distribution of these changes. Does your personal trainer have you on the right program? Are your dietary and lifestyle changes paying off?

A follow-up Bodycomp scan can answer these questions. The results are produced immediately after the scan. The technologist will discuss the values with you after your scan. You will receive your scan results as well as reference normal values and other explanatory information.

As our population ages, there has been an increase in the number of hip, wrist and vertebral compression fractures. The majority of these types of fractures, in women over 50, are due to a condition called osteoporosis.

Bone density screening scans can help identify those individuals who are at an increased risk of fracture due to low bone mass. During this 7-10 minute procedure, the technologist will image the hip and spine. Although our whole body scan includes these areas, assessing bone density requires detailed images of the hip and spine to produce optimal screening results due to the way our bodies store and lose mineral mass in the skeleton.
